The Rome City Council has fixed a flat fare of 50.00 € from the airport of Fiumicino to Rome city centre (up to four persons and inclusive of luggage). It is best that you confirm this fixed fare with the driver before boarding the taxi (please note that taxis registered in the city of Fiumicino are entitled to charge 60.00 €).
If you are charged more than 50.00 € come into the Hotel and one of our staff will assist you. NB. see notice below about taxis.

Pickup/Transfer Services | 40 min | If required we can arrange a fully licenced limousine service to pick you up from the airport to the Lancelot.
Between 7am and 9 pm the cost is of 60.00 € for up to three passengers with a maximum of one suitcase per person.
For transfers before 7am or after 9pm a night supplement of 10.00 € will be charged. If you have more suitcases or if you are 4 to 8 people, larger vehicles are available , please contact us us for a quote.

 Train | 40 min | There are also two trains that connect the Fiumicino airport to the city centre:
The fast train“ Leonardo Express” to Termini Station takes 30 minutes - € 14.00
Trenitalia to Ostiense Station makes four stops. This route avoids the busy Termini station - € 8,00

From both the train Stations (Termini or Ostiense) you may then take a white metered taxi from the taxi stand to the Hotel for no more than 15.00/20.00 € (inclusive of luggage). Make sure the meter is switched on. If you are uncertain about the fare come into the Hotel and one of our staff will assist you.

Take extra care as pickpockets operate on public transport. From Ostiense station you can also take the tram nr. 3 that takes you to via Labicana in 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus the Hotel is 3/4 minutes walking.

Taxi | 15 min |From Termini station or from Tiburtina station you can get to Hotel Lancelot by Taxi or by the Underground.
Use only the official white metered taxis at the taxi stand in front of the station. Make sure you take a taxi from this queue. Do not take up offers for a taxi from people standing around the station. The fare should not be more than 15.00/20.00 € (inclusive of luggage). Make sure the meter is switched on, the meter starts at 3.00€
The taxi ride should take between 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Underground | 15 min | From Termini station and from Tiburtina station take the B Line, west bound train to the COLOSSEO metro station (two stops), From here cross the road and take the bus for 2 stops, nr. 85 to Via San Giovanni in Laterano or nr. 87, 51 to via Labicana. Once you get off the bus the Hotel is 3/4 minutes walking.

You can reach the Hotel Lancelot with the underground. The closest stop is "Colosseo" on the line B (blu) that joins the A line (red) at Termini station.

The closest stop of the A line is "Manzoni" that is 500 meters away from the Hotel Lancelot (12 minutes walking or 6 minutes with bus 51 or tram 3).

The new metro line C (green) stops at "San Giovanni" where it joins with the A line. The Metro station "San Giovanni" is 6/8 minutes away from the Lancelot by bus (85,87) or 15 minutes walking.

From the exit of "Colosseo" metro stop go to the left on via dei Fori Imperiali (uphill) heading to Via San Giovanni in Laterano (having the excavation of Ludus Magnum at your right) and after the Church of San Clemente turn right on via dei Querceti towards the steps. At the foot of the steps turn right, and a little ahead on the left you will see trees and a gate, that's the Lancelot at N. 47 (10 minutes walking) Otherwise from the exit of "Colosseo" metro stop cross the road and take the bus for 2 stops, nr. 85 to Via San Giovanni in Laterano or nr. 87, 51 to via Labicana. Take extra care as pickpockets operate on public transport. Once you get off the bus the Hotel is 3/4 minutes walking.

If you are arriving from the West, follow signs to "Centro Storico" (centre) and then to the Colosseum. If you are arriving from the North, East or South follow signs to San Giovanni

From the Autostrada:
If you are arriving from the north, take the Raccordo Anulare (GRA) ring-road to exit 14 (Tangenziale Est) and then follow the signs for San Giovanni. If arriving from the south, also take the Raccordo Anulare and follow the directions as above. Once at San Giovanni, go around the basilica (church), bearing right. At the traffic lights (there should be an obelisk to your left) go straight across to where the road forks- taking the road to the right, which is Via dei Santi Quattro Coronati. At the bottom of the hill turn left, as you turn you will see the steps with pillars at the top, and you will have to turn right on Via Capo D'Africa, we are at number 47. Look out for the trees and the gate.

From Fiumicino:
If your are coming into Rome from Fiumicino airport or from the West follow signs for the centre - "Roma Centro" and then to the Colosseo. Once at the Colosseo take the Via Labicana (leaving the Colosseum behind you). At the 2nd traffic light turn right into Piazza San Clemente- go straight up to where you see some steps with some pillars at the top, at which point you will have to follow the bend and turn right onto Via Capo d'Africa. We are at number 47 a few meters ahead on the left. Look out for the trees and the gray gate.

90 min | We can arrange for a fully licensed limousine service to and from the port of Civitavecchia. The distance between Rome and the port of Civitavecchia is of 85 km and the drive takes approximately one and a half hours.

By public transport| 1/2 hours | From the Port of Civitavecchia, reach Civitavecchia Rail Station  in 10 minutes by bus (autobus urbano CSP) or in 20 minutes walking.
