Jogging Circuits

The jogging routes avoid traffic and road crossing as much as possible.  The jogging routes are reached be a ten minute streach over the celio hill.

Caracalla

 This cicuit is about 700 meters long and is popular with Roman joggers.    You can select to run on grass/earth track or on the pavement.   These is a water fountain on route.

Circo Massimo

 This is a earch/shingle ciruit of about 600 meters, originally used for chariot races.  Overlooked by the Palatine hill.

Trastevere

Along the banks of the Tiber, a circuit of about 1.5 kms.   Cobble stones and asphalt.  Overlooked by the Aventine hill.

Lungo Tevere

Also along the banks of the Tiber, a circuit of about 4 kms.   Cobble stones and asphalt.
